ACARS Setup for Charter Flights

Charters can be found on the flights page in the form of a calendar. These flights are not part of scheduled operations so cannot be found using the search facility on the website or ACARS.

Hovering over an entry on the calendar will present a preview panel of the charter.

To set up ACARS, make a note of the flight number then of the charter you wish to fly then click on it to display an expanded view:

The information from the expanded view can now be entered into ACARS:

Once this information has been entered, and the simulator is running, press start flight. The ACARS system will monitor the flight and can be ended in the same way as scheduled flights.
