Special Operations Event: Traditionally Greek Orthodox Church in cooperation with Hellenic Air Force (HAF) provides the Holy Light transport flight from Holy Place to the Greek Capital City of Athens This is a special VIP Flight operated by Hellenic Air Force on the Holy Saturday of the Greek Orthodox Easter Formation of Fighter Jet Aircraft will be escorting Holy Light VIP flight after entering in the Hellenic FIR until landing in Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos” (LGAV) and then, they will return to their base in Chania – Souda “Ioannis Daskalogiannis” (LGSA) Event Master Plan is provided on the HQ-SOD website Participant registration is required on the HQ-SOD website

The Events and Special Operations Department of the Hellenic Department organizes current year again the transport of the Holy Light from Holy Places to Athens Traditionally Greek Orthodox church, in cooperation with Hellenic Air Force (HAF) provides Holy Light transport from Holy Places to Greek Capital city, Athens, during Orthodox Easter celebration time using HAF VIP flight from Ben Gurion, Tel Aviv to Athens and to the rest of Greece and selected cities
